About the role
Ability to do structural body work is a must. Earn an additional $700 bi-weekly with efficiency bonuses. Paid weekly.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair our customers' commercial trailers.
- Write detailed work orders—working 80% in yard sites and 20% on mobile road calls.
- Provide quality customer service.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair semi-truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components.
- Perform preventative maintenance measures on fleet semi-trucks and trailers.
- Maintain hubs and axles and adjust or replace them when required.
- Inspect, service, and replace tractor and trailer parts, including tires.
- Check and repair the brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Test all systems and equipment for performance issues.
- Ensure that trailers meet the U.S. Department of Transportation's road safety requirements.
- Compile inspection reports, document repairs, and report all findings to management.
- Respond as soon as possible to client queries.
Requirements
- 5+ years of verified commercial trailer repair experience.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift 100+ pounds.
- Basic computer skills to submit repairs for billing.
- Follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks.
- Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders.
Qualifications
- Experience with welding; certification a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school degree a plus.
- Class A CDL.
- Your own tools.

USD $36.00 – USD $38.00 per hour. Earn an additional $700 bi-weekly with efficiency bonuses. Paid weekly.
