Mobile Service Technician (Automotive)

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring an Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join their team in Groveland, FL. The role offers competitive pay ($32.00 - $42.00/hr), weekly pay, full benefits starting within 30 days, and opportunities for training and career advancement.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light to medium duty fleet vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations

Requirements

• 5+ years’ of hands-on experience performing automotive vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)

Skills

• Physical ability to perform essential job functions including frequent movement such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods
• Ability to lift heavy objects and access tight or confined spaces
• Safe navigation of the workspace due to the need to see and hear sufficiently
