Mobile Service Technician

About the role

King O’Rourke Cadillac, Buick, GMC located on Rte. 347 Smithtown, NY is seeking to hire more Mobile Service Technicians for their NEW Mobile Service+ Department. This full-time position is available in their Award-Winning Service Department.

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work outside the shop as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and performing repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers.
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Maintains an organized work area.

Requirements

• Must present valid driver’s license
• Diesel Technician desirable
• ASE certification desirable
• Excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• GM Training and transmission experience a plus
• DOT medical clearance a plus
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy

Pay

$24-$48 per hour depending on experience
