The Reality of the Work
This is a hands-on field position. Our technicians regularly work at commercial wastewater treatment facilities, agricultural operations, industrial plants, and other customer locations.
The work environment may include:
- Dirty, dusty, wet, noisy, or muddy conditions
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Confined spaces and elevated work areas
- Heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Emergency service calls and occasional overtime
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday–Friday | 6:45 AM – 4:00 PM
- Home Daily
- Overtime may be required

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret schematics, ladder diagrams, technical specifications, and manufacturer's manuals.
- Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems and controls.
- Work on generators, PLCs, electric motors, motor controls, flow equipment, alarm systems, heating and ventilation systems, conduits, relays, and related equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance according to established procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to customers and operations personnel.
- Assist with system modifications, upgrades, and major repairs.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors on repairs and installations.
- Maintain appropriate inventory of electrical parts and equipment.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency service situations as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of electrical instrumentation, controls, and industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment.
- Understanding of electrical safety standards and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations as required.
