Position Summary
The Mobile Service/Installation Technician for State Cleaning Solutions is responsible for coordinating and completing installations across multiple districts and company regions. This role also provides support for warehouse inventory initiatives and service call assistance, ensuring installations are performed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage installations across assigned regions spanning multiple states
- Travel to assigned regions up to 75% of the time, including occasional weekends
- Receive installation requests from the district manager and document them for follow-up
- Verify equipment and product availability to complete installations in a single visit
- Ensure quality control of all installations, including equipment, products, and support materials (e.g., wall charts, MSDS, order guides)
- Maintain and manage the installation schedule and workflow
- Provide inter-district coverage as needed
- Assist with inventory control and ordering
- Submit asset movement forms for all installed inventory equipment
- Utilize handheld device software to track parts, equipment, and product deliveries
- Continuously improve technical knowledge of machines and equipment
- Maintain communication with technical support from vendors
- Keep equipment manuals current and encourage access for all representatives
- Support additional service issues as assigned
- Respond to service requests from representatives and supervisors
- Maintain all company-issued equipment, vehicles, and related assets
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Work flexible hours as required to meet operational needs
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate assigned vehicles in accordance with corporate fleet policy
- Proven ability to sell value-added products
- Strong mechanical aptitude (plumbing, electrical, mechanical)
- Skilled at troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. as required
- Previous warewashing/laundry experience preferred
- Customer service or sales background preferred
