Mobile Semi-Trailer Technician/Service Truck Semi Mechanic

Position Overview

As a Mobile Trailer Technician, you will travel to customer locations to perform trailer inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs. This is a hands-on role ideal for technicians who enjoy problem-solving, working independently, and delivering high-quality service in the field.

What You'll Do

• Respond to mobile service calls and complete on-site trailer repairs
• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot trailer issues
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections
• Repair and replace trailer components including: Brake systems, Suspension systems, Electrical wiring and lighting, Floors, doors, frames, and structural components
• Troubleshooting and repairing liftgate issues
• Perform welding and fabrication work as required
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation
• Manage inventory and parts on service vehicle
• Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Trailer Technician, Trailer Mechanic, Mobile Mechanic, or Fleet Maintenance Technician
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with welding, brake systems, suspension, and electrical repair
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• CDL and DOT experience considered an asset
