About The Role
MobileSecurity.net is seeking a motivated and hands-on Tech I to join our team. This role is focused on the physical assembly, deployment, and configuration of our MobileSecurity trailer systems. You will work alongside seasoned technicians to build and prepare high-performance security hardware for field operation, gaining deep experience in the physical integration of mobile assets.
Responsibilities
- System Fabrication & Assembly: Assist senior technicians in the physical build-out of security trailers, including mounting equipment, installing power systems, and ensuring structural integrity.
- Equipment Maintenance & Upkeep: Perform hands-on maintenance, including trailer solar panel cleaning, battery bank setup/checks, and general mechanical upkeep.
- Field Installation & Deployment: Participate in the physical deployment of equipment, including trailer towing, precise leveling, and the assembly/extension of physical equipment masts while strictly adhering to safety rules.
- Technical Integration: Support the initial setup and configuration of Axis camera hardware and peripheral components.
- Systems Literacy: Gain proficiency in the Your6 mobile app and basic camera viewing interfaces to verify successful system assembly.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a clean towing record.
- Must be able to obtain an OSHA 10 certification within the first 6 months of employment.
- Foundational knowledge of DC power (12v/24v) systems.
- Basic understanding of networking and Wi-Fi principles.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting & Carrying: Regularly lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment, parts, tools, and boxes weighing up to 50 lbs (or more with team assistance) as part of trailer assembly and deployment.
- Physical Activity: Requires frequent standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, climbing, and working in various weather conditions and outdoor environments.
- Mobility: Ability to actively participate in hands-on mechanical work, trailer towing setup, and physical mast deployment.
Skills
- Proficiency in the use of basic power and hand tools for mechanical assembly.
- Basic computer skills and strong mobile app literacy.

Travel Requirements
Scope: Opportunities for travel throughout the U.S.
Modes of Travel: Includes both flying and driving.
Percentage of travel that will be required will be dependent on availability and scheduling, but can be anticipated to be 10-15% of your overall workload.
