Mobile Response Team - Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Van Nuys, CA)

About the role
As an Aviation Maintenance Technician, you’ll perform critical inspections, maintenance, and repairs on sophisticated aircraft, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to the highest safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and maintain customer aircraft to the highest safety and quality standards
- Interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and documentation to execute precise repairs
- Communicate directly with customers to assess issues and deliver solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and compliant aircraft readiness
- Document all work performed in accordance with regulatory and company policies
Requirements
- A minimum of 18 months of hands-on aviation maintenance experience
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering and technical documents
- Eligibility to obtain a Repairman Certificate within 75 days if not already licensed
Qualifications
- Active Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification (preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and critical thinking skills
- Experience with business or corporate aircraft maintenance (preferred)

$28.00 to $40.00 per hour (based on experience)
