About the role
Responsible for maintaining and repairing refrigerated transport vehicles to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues in transport vehicles.
- Perform preventative maintenance checks to prevent breakdowns and ensure vehicle readiness.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with customers and colleagues regarding vehicle status and repair progress.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- At least 2 years of experience in automotive or related field.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems and vehicle mechanics.
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor.
Skills
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
