About The Role Coinbase is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer, Mobile QA to join its App Infrastructure team within the Consumer & Business group. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading automated regression testing efforts for native iOS and Android applications. Your expertise will help establish a comprehensive QA strategy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable mobile apps. You will collaborate closely with mobile development engineers to enhance test coverage, improve test automation processes, and leverage cutting-edge AI-assisted tools for code generation and testing. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality assurance, possess a strong background in mobile testing frameworks, and be adept at building scalable test infrastructure that aligns with the company's rapid development cycles. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in mobile application testing, including native iOS and Android platforms.Strong understanding of automated testing frameworks such as Appium, Espresso, XCTest, or similar tools.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes.Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools and techniques for enhancing test automation.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Experience with programming languages such as Java, Swift, Kotlin, or Python is preferred. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated regression test suites for native iOS and Android applications.Establish and implement comprehensive QA strategies to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.Partner with mobile development teams to identify testing requirements and improve test coverage.Integrate AI-assisted code generation tools into the testing workflows to enhance automation and reduce manual effort.Build and maintain scalable test infrastructure to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with developers to resolve defects promptly.Document testing processes, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency across teams.Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mobile testing and automation technologies.
