Mobile Podiatry Assistant – Bring Foot Care to LA Seniors at Home Company: All Seniors Foundation Location: Los Angeles, CA About Us All Seniors Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to improving the quality of life for older adults across Los Angeles County. we provide medical care, in-home support, hospice and palliative care, cancer navigation, and 200+ other free services to qualifying seniors. Every service is delivered at no cost, regardless of insurance status. Role Overview As Mobile Podiatry Assistant, you will support our visiting podiatrist by performing in-home foot care for diabetic, immobile, and at-risk seniors. You will conduct foot exams, trim nails, monitor wound healing, and educate seniors on diabetic foot care. Key Responsibilities Assist the podiatrist with in-home patient encounters: setup, prep, and clean-upPerform routine foot care including nail trimming, callus reduction, and basic wound careConduct diabetic foot screenings including monofilament testing and pulse examsEducate seniors on diabetic foot care, hygiene, and warning signsMaintain mobile podiatry equipment and ensure proper sterilization and disposalDocument patient encounters and follow up on referrals Qualifications Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) OR Podiatric Medical Assistant Certified (PMAC)Valid CA driver’s license + reliable insured vehicle1+ year podiatry, wound care, or related clinical experienceComfort with foot care for elderly and diabetic patientsStrong patient communication and infection-control awareness What We Offer Competitive hourly rate ($24–$36 per hour)Mileage reimbursement + flexible schedulingComprehensive benefits for full-time rolesPaid PMAC certification pathMeaningful patient relationships — many seniors see us monthly How To Apply Submit your application through the form on this page.
