Mobile Plumber (Fort Worth, Tx)

About the Role

As a CBRE Mobile Plumber, you will be responsible for general preventive maintenance, repair, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of plumbing, mechanical, and distribution systems throughout a facility. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot the water and medical gas supply and distribution system.
• Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures by blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using a plumber’s snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer.
• Assist other staff members or contractors on projects or equipment installations.
• Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.
• Provide training to other staff members so they can perform light plumbing maintenance and repair.
• Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.
• Respond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed.
• Follow all activity policies and procedures, including HSE-related requirements.
• Complete all HSE programs and activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessments.
• Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Plumbing certification at the Journeyman level required.
• Medical Gas certification and Backflow certification preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Meet physical requirements: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
