Mobile Phlebotomy - Long Beach, CA (Temporary, Full-Time)

About the role

We're seeking dynamic full-time nurses, phlebotomists, or medical assistants to provide a diverse array of preventative care and diagnostic services to patients in the comfort of their homes. Trainings will be offered to acquaint you with services such as capturing diabetic retina images, performing ECGs, recording using digital stethoscopes, and more.

Successful candidates will have previous experience in venipuncture, coupled with traits such as dependability, professionalism, problem-solving, and an unwavering commitment to customer service excellence. The role demands the ability to operate autonomously with an emphasis on exceptional quality. Responsibilities

• Ensure you have all proper supplies and PPE for daily patient care.
• Navigate to patient homes using modern technology to access your schedule.
• Build warm and welcoming connections with a diverse range of patients.
• Perform various services including phlebotomy, specimen collection, diabetic foot screenings, retina exams, ECGs, and more in a patient-centric manner.
• Collect and manage samples, ensuring proper labeling and coordination for lab drop-off or shipment.

• Technologically savvy and comfortable using mobile devices for charting and HIPAA-secure messaging apps for care coordination.

• Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision.

• Reliable transportation (using your own vehicle) to travel to patient homes.
• Ability to physically access and navigate patient homes, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds while walking.
• Pass national background check, DMV check, and valid clinical license search.

Qualifications

• State-required licensure and/or proof of training.
• National certification for applicants in states without state-level licensure requirements.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Proof of completion of course/program or certification based on licensure level.
• Valid Driver’s License and current vehicle insurance.
• Proof of vaccination or immunity for:
  • Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR)
  • Hepatitis B series
  • Varicella
  • TB test (within the past year)
  • Influenza (annual or signed exemption)
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis (TDaP - within past 10 years)
