Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Requires travel throughout the day location to location.
- Utilizes standard venipuncture techniques to collect appropriate blood specimens by adhering to correct collection and transport protocol including positive patient identification.
- Follows all Solaris Diagnostic procedures and policies.
- Follows all lab safety procedures to minimize risk to self and others; reports gaps and escalates as necessary.
- Maintains specimen integrity by using aseptic technique, following department procedures.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Adheres to professional standards, federal, state and local requirements, and accreditation standards.
- Maintains favorable driving record as well as valid driver’s license.
- Must adhere to dress code guidelines.

- Adheres to strict attendance guidelines.
- Adheres to all HIPPA guidelines.
- Utilizes mobile payroll system.
- Utilizes LIMS tracking system and documents samples and patient information properly.
- Must adhere to all vehicle safety equipment while driving company-owned vehicles. This will include the Samara tracking as well as dash camera.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1 year of relevant experience interacting with patients.
- 1 year minimum phlebotomy experience.
- High School Diploma.
Required Qualifications
- Previous phlebotomy experience at least one year.
- Maintain favorable driving record as well as valid driver’s license.
- Provide proof of auto insurance with state minimum coverage, provided at least quarterly.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to utilize company equipment including Samsara tracking device as well as dash camera.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Strong eye hand coordination in order to accurately identify specimens by touch and sight.
- Must be able to successfully complete color coordination test.
- Ability to wear laboratory personal protective equipment (PPE) 3-6 hours out of the day.
- Frequently required to stand and/or sit for long periods of time.
- Will require driving up to 8 hours per day.
Environment
- Generally performed in various locations.
- Frequently exposed to laboratory samples, including but not limited to blood, urine and other bodily fluids.
