Mobile Phlebotomist - Central Florida

About the Role

APPS Paramedical is looking for part-time examiners in Lake County, Florida, to conduct in-home life insurance medical screening exams. The Orlando (Florida) office covers these counties, with examiners covering their local areas. You would be able to cover one or multiple of these areas based on your zip code: Mount Dora, Village, Fruitland, Leesburg, Tavares, Sorrento, Umatilla, Eustis, Groveland, Clermont, Birthlo, Alafaya, Winter Garden, Minneola, Osceola, and Apopka.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not necessary in Seminole County, Orange County, Lady Lake County, Broward County, and Osceola County.
• Examiners must be verifiably trained in phlebotomy.
• Computer literate.
• Have all the necessary tools for the job (BP cuff, stethoscope, home computer with printer, smartphone, and tablet).

Responsibilities

• Medical questionnaires.
• Height, weight, BP, blood/urine collection, EKG, or any combination of these.
• Processing specimens and paperwork in HIPAA-compliant manner.

Equipment Support

My office can assist with obtaining an inexpensive centrifuge, EKG, and tablet.

Pay

Examiners can expect to earn between $100 and $500 weekly.
