Mobile Phlebotomist

About the role

This position involves collecting and processing biological specimens across various sites, including hospitals, patient centers, and mobile services. Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, sample preparation, and performing specific analytical tests following established policies and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy procedures with 1-2 years of experience, preferably mobile experience.
• Ensure proper specimen receipt, documentation, and distribution for testing.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and professional standards.
• Work independently across multiple locations, including nursing homes and behavioral health sites.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a phlebotomy program or relevant experience, with certification as required by state.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and fingerprint checks.
• Flexibility to travel, work varied hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic resource materials preferred; bilingual skills advantageous.
