Mobile Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Traveling to specified locations to obtain samples such as vitals, blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history.
• Disinfecting extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
• Gathering mandatory information from patients and verifying their identities.
• Obtaining vitals, blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history.
• Accurately labeling all samples.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, including documenting any medical issues experienced during venipuncture procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a phlebotomist.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA/PHI law.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Professional, responsible, and self-starter with good penmanship.
• Reliable transportation and proficiency with computers, including internet access and a printer/scanner.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must be flexible and willing to travel to various locations.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Must be able to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Benefits

• Paid per appointment/event, not an hourly or salary-paid position.
• Bi-weekly pay.
• Some travel expenses are covered based on the location of the appointment.
