Mobile Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Traveling to specified locations to obtain samples such as vitals, blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history.
• Disinfecting extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
• Gathering mandatory information from patients and verifying their identities.
• Obtaining vitals, blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history.
• Accurately labeling all samples.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, including documenting any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a phlebotomist.
• Valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA/PHI law.
• Detail-oriented and sound organizational skills.
• Professional, responsible, and self-starter with excellent attention to detail and good penmanship.
• Reliable transportation and proficiency in using a computer, having internet access, and a printer/scanner to print, scan, and upload completed documents.
