Department: Market Ops - CCPPLocation: 677 W Palmdon Dr. Suite 106, Fresno, CA 93704Compensation: $26.00 - $28.00 / hour Description About the Role: We are currently seeking a highly motivated Phlebotomist to support our Quality – Clinical Operations team at Astrana Health. This role reports to a Nurse Practitioner and is responsible for helping close care gaps for patients across the Fresno, CA market through in-home and in-clinic support. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team and take on an expanded Phlebotomist position that combines traditional blood draw responsibilities with broader clinical support, including health screenings and preventative care initiatives. Our Values:Put Patients FirstEmpower Entrepreneurial Provider and Care TeamsOperate with Integrity & ExcellenceBe InnovativeWork As One Team What You'll Do Support Clinical Operations through in-home and in-clinic patient visits across the Fresno marketPerform blood draws and safely transport/drop off specimens at contracted laboratory sitesOperate clinical screening devices, including A1C testing, retinal eye exams, and osteoporosis screening equipmentAssist with Health Risk Assessments (HRAs) and provide pre-visit support for Annual Wellness VisitsDeliver high-quality patient care in both home and clinic settings, ensuring patient comfort and professionalismManage schedules effectively, complete assigned visits on time, and maintain strong organization in a fast-paced environmentAccurately document all patient interactions and procedures in the EMR systemSupport the Clinical Operations team with additional tasks to help close quality care gaps and improve patient outcomesTravel locally (within ~30 miles) to patient homes, with mileage reimbursement provide Qualifications Active Phlebotomy certification (CPT I required)At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or similar settingActive BLS certificationStrong communication skills and ability to build rapport with patientsAbility to work independently, problem-solve, and manage time effectively in a field-based roleProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Resourceful, team-oriented mindset with a positive, no-ego attitudePassion for working with underserved populations and advancing value-based care initiativesPreferred QualificationsBilingual in Spanish or MandarinExperience working in fast-paced or high-volume environmentsStrong organizational skills and self-motivationExcellent bedside manner, particularly when working with elderly patient populations Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions This is a full-time, onsite/field-based role; hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMApproximately 90% of time spent in patient homes and 10% in clinicMileage reimbursement providedYou will be responsible for maintaining reliable transportation and for all vehicle-related expenses and issues, including but not limited to maintenance, repairs, flat tires, towing, parking violations, and similar costsYou may be required to travel an additional 20-30 miles beyond your primary service area when business needs warrant, including when there are 2-3 or more patient visits scheduled within a particular geographic areaAbility to work independently in the field and adapt to changing schedules and patient needs
