Mobile Phlebotomist

Aculabs, a leading provider of laboratory services to long-term care facilities throughout the Mid-Atlantic, is a family-owned and operated company since 1971. We are seeking motivated self-starters to join our mobile phlebotomy team.

About the role

As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will travel to various nursing homes to collect blood samples from patients, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and patient comfort.

Ideal Candidate Location

Candidates located in Milford, CT, willing to travel to surrounding areas as part of their daily work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Travel to different nursing homes to collect blood samples
• Follow established procedures for sample collection and handling
• Interact with patients professionally and provide necessary information
• Maintain proper documentation of samples collected
• Adhere to safety and infection control policies

Requirements

• Phlebotomy certification and experience (preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Personal mobile phone

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm
• Monday to Friday, 5:00 am – 1:30 pm, with weekend rotation

Retention Bonus

Earn up to $1,000 in retention bonuses:

• $500 at 3 months
• $500 at 6 months

• Maintain a clean record with no performance deficiencies or facility complaints
• Remain in full compliance with the Employee Handbook, with no violations
