About the role
Actalent is urgently hiring for a Mobile Phlebotomist to join the team in a mobile capacity, serving busy patient service centers throughout Long Island. Homebase is Westbury, NY, with additional sites in Port Washington, New Hyde Park, and as needed Babylon, Brentwood, Patchogue, and Bay Shore. The position is permanent and fully onsite. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel over 30 miles per day. Pay rate is $25.00 per hour. Application deadline: October 9, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws using straight needles for the majority of cases and butterfly needles for difficult sticks.
- Manage pediatric and adult patient blood collection with care and precision.
- Process and handle specimens according to established procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of blood draws and specimen handling.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of straight needle experience (outside of schooling).
- Experience with infant and pediatric blood collection.
Pay
$25.00 per hour.

Schedule
Must be available between 7 a.m.–7 p.m., Monday–Friday, with rotating Saturday shifts 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
