About the role

This position requires extensive travel (60-70%) to various locations to assist in pharmacy operations, medication preparation, and patient support. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently in a mobile setting.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to multiple locations to support pharmacy operations and medication distribution
  • Collect information needed to fill prescriptions from customers or healthcare professionals
  • Measure, mix, and label medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
  • Ensure accurate prescription preparation and dispensing
  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
  • Process insurance claims and handle medication inquiries
  • Ensure inventory control and proper storage of medications during transit
  • Adhere to all safety and security protocols while transporting medications
  • Communicate effectively with pharmacy teams and healthcare professionals

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician
  • Pharmacy technician certification preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable personal vehicle for travel
  • Ability to travel 60-70% of the time (25-75% travel requirement)
  • Frequently sitting, standing, walking, typing on a keyboard with fingers, and occasionally bending, reaching, and climbing (stairs/ladders)
  • Ability to push/pull and lift/carry 11-20 lbs

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 12:30 PM–9:00 PM
  • Saturday–Sunday: Rotating weekends
