Mobile Patrol Specialist

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Mobile Patrol Specialist to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI. The ideal candidate should have a keen sense of observation, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to security.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular surveillance and perform security audits of facilities.
• Investigate suspicious activities and report findings.
• Identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
• Remotely monitor security camera systems and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in inventory management and respond to security incidents.
• Work alongside law enforcement to support their criminal investigations.
• Communicate with site security and law enforcement to address security concerns.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Two years of law enforcement, military service, or practical experience in loss prevention.
• Basic knowledge of security systems, CCTV operation, and theft prevention strategies.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally.
• Basic knowledge of criminal law and legal procedures.
• Physical fitness to conduct regular patrols and respond to emergencies.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• State-issued Driver’s License and private security licensing (if applicable).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional applications and Google GSuite.
• Written and verbal proficiency in the English language.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field from an accredited institution (preferred).
• ASIS Essentials of Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) Certificate (preferred).
• ASIS Essentials of Security Risk Assessment Certificate (preferred).
• Associate Protection Professional (APP) certification (preferred).
• Experience working in an automotive manufacturing environment (preferred).
