About the role
The Mobile Lab Coordinator at Zimmer Biomet's Paragon 28 (P28) is responsible for managing all operations of the mobile bio-skills lab, ensuring proper transportation and setup of the lab, and handling anatomical tissue safely. This role involves up to 80% travel.
Responsibilities
- Manage all operations of mobile bio-skills lab.
- Ensure Mobile Lab transportation from one location to another.
- Proper set up and breakdown of each lab.
- Ensure all safety rules and regulations are met to AATB and OSHA standards.
- Manage P28 products, PPE, general instrumentation and anatomical inventory.
- Manage assigned budgets and calendar requests for labs.
- Sure the proper handling of all anatomical tissue.
- Operate mini-c-arm imaging machine.
- Manage and service company vehicle.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the medical device industry, preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a regulated bio-laboratory required, including:
- Proper handling/prepping of human tissue.
- Safe handling of biologically contaminated product.
- Lab or clean room experience that meets AATB and OSHA standards.
- Experience working a Cell Operating System or manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in MS Excel and Outlook.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to present ideas/direction to business partners, management and physicians and sales representatives.
- Able to maintain professionalism while maintaining compliance to P28 standards and all legal requirements.
- Self-motivated and able to work and solve issues independently.
Qualifications

Skills
- Ability to lift up-to 30 lbs. by themselves.
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for extended periods of time (can be 8 hours plus), as well as bend/stoop/squat and balance frequently.
- Ability to wear a 7-9 pounds of protective lead apron for extended periods of time while in lab, as well as gloves, gowns and eye protection.
Benefits
Compensation: $50,000-$72,000 USD annually.
