Mobile Hose Service Technician

About the role

Yancey Bros. Co., founded in 1914, serves as the authorized Caterpillar equipment dealer for Georgia, focusing on high-quality sales, parts, and service.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mobile hydraulic hose van in established territory
• Inspect, identify, measure, and build hydraulic hoses on work sites
• Remove and replace hydraulic hoses on construction and industrial equipment
• Maintain mobile workshop and inventory
• Develop customer relationships and prospect for new business

Additional Responsibilities

• Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner
• Additional duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience with and basic knowledge of hydraulics beneficial
• Experience with hand tools
• Experience with hydraulic manufacturing machines beneficial
• Must be 21 years old or older
• Valid, active driver's license
• Ability to clear driver screenings and provide necessary information for a complete DQ file, including but not limited to: Background check and MVR with less than 10 points. DOT Physical, Drug Screen
• Ability to become forklift certified and adhere to all Yancey safety standards
• Able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively and occasionally higher amounts with assistive device
