Mobile Glass Technician

About the role

The Mobile Auto Glass Technician position plays a key role in providing automotive glass repairs and is a great starting point to a rewarding career at Belle Tire!

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer location to perform auto glass installation and repairs
• Inspect vehicles and determine appropriate repairs or replacements needed
• Safely remove and replace windshields, side windows, rear windows, and other auto glass
• Effectively communicate with customers, addressing any concerns or questions
• Safely drive mobile glass van equipped with tools and glass required to perform auto glass repairs/replacement
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform other duties as assigned by your manager

Requirements

• 18 years old
• Valid Driver's License
• Five (5) years of auto glass repair/replacement experience on all types of vehicles
• Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods, bend and lift up to 75 pounds
• Physical demands including sitting for extended periods while driving as well as loading and unloading auto glass and lifting heavy items
