Mobile Equipment Repair Employee

Responsibilities

• Safely perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair of underground mobile equipment (loaders, haul trucks, graders, bobcats, skid steers, concrete trucks, etc.)
• Assist with and perform component diagnostic, replacement, and repairs on power trains, hydraulic systems, electrical low voltage systems, engines, pneumatics / AC systems, and frames
• Perform engine replacements, transmission replacements, powertrain replacements, hydraulic motor replacements, etc.
• Perform mechanical and lubrication preventative maintenance (PM) on underground haul trucks, front-end loaders, electrical and/or hydraulic drills and bolters, and other utility support vehicles
• Complete work area inspections and housekeeping duties
• May operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, front-end loaders, cranes, and mine tractors
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements

• (One) year of experience in mining mobile equipment mechanical/maintenance or a combination of education and experience in industrial mechanical repair and maintenance
• Completed academic and practical competencies required (Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists)
• Demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and skills while passing a written assessment where required

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred

Skills

• Skilled mechanic
• Welding (MIG, Stick, TIG, ARC, etc.)
• Fabrication duties (frame repairs, brackets, body work)
• Emission testing on underground equipment

Benefits

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $26.00 - $33.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.

Pay

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $26.00 - $33.00/hour.

Schedule

This role is eligible for shift work, including 24/7 operations.
