Mobile Emergency Vehicle Technician

Essential Duties

• Buils knowledge of dealer supported product lines, service standards, and procedures and keeps abreast of all changes in various models of equipment sold and serviced by the distributor.
• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Service shop and Factory standards.
• Vehicle inspection including factory warranty repairs, computer diagnostics and programming.
• Attends local, regional, and national service schools and training sessions as requested.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and professional work environment not only in shop but also at customer sites.
• Utilizes various equipment and tools to include, but not limited to hand tools, power tools, testing/diagnostic equipment, cranes and hoists.
• Foster close, positive working relationships with all service, parts and administrative personnel.

Essential Qualifications

• 2-year Diesel Technician/Mechanic degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years working in a full-time technician/mechanic role on heavy duty chassis.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical experience.
• Welding/cutting torch experience.
• Excellent skills in communication, interpersonal, organizational and attention to detail.
• Working usage of MS Office Suite and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Desirable Qualifications

• Direct industry experience.
• Class B CDL.
• ADA Requirements.

Compensation

This role offers a salary range of $27.00 - $47.00 per hour, with final compensation determined by experience, skills, and internal equity.
