Mobile diesle mechanic

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile repair and maintenance services for diesel engines, transmissions, and related vehicle systems
• Diagnose mechanical problems accurately and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements
• Travel to various customer sites as needed, carrying necessary tools and parts
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake repairs, and system inspections
• Communicate effectively with customers about repairs performed, timelines, and costs
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all jobs completed
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Keep up to date with advancements in diesel technology and repair techniques

Requirements

• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably with mobile service experience
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and heavy-duty vehicle components
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on the road
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Able to lift heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks
• Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours
• Possession of relevant diesel mechanic certifications is a plus
• Own tools and reliable transportation are preferred
