About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Diesel Technician / Truck Mechanic to perform onsite maintenance and repairs at customer locations, operating a service truck daily. This role offers flexible scheduling with options for a 4-day (Mon-Thur) or 5-day (Mon-Fri) workweek.

Responsibilities

  • Service and repair work on engines, drive trains, steering, electrical systems, suspension, and brakes
  • Troubleshooting and inspections
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Operate a mobile service truck daily
  • Work independently at customer locations
  • Implement and enforce health and safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Read and write reports

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Heavy Duty Diesel Technician
  • Good computer skills and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the last 3 years
  • No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (e.g., DUI/DWI)
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs with assistance

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Diesel Mechanic experience required
  • Certificate or degree from a Diesel Program preferred
  • CDL is a plus
