About the Role

Prestige Fleet Services is your on-site maintenance expert for truck and trailer repair. Our skilled mobile technicians have decades of experience and are dedicated to providing the highest quality maintenance and repairs to keep fleets on the road. We offer first-class service for routine inspections and repairs, with a commitment to quality parts and experienced technicians. Our mobile repair experts come to you, performing all maintenance and repairs at your location and around your schedule. All technicians are D.O.T. and brake certified.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and perform repairs and inspections on trailers.
• Handle brake systems, diagnostics, electrical systems, tires, lift-gates, and other components.
• Repair damage and perform welding for major jobs.
• Repair or replace trailer parts such as flooring, rails, landing gear, and lift gates.
• Schedule and oversee all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Open and close repair orders on a company-issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on service vehicles or trailers.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other documentation in a timely fashion.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of tractor-trailer repair experience.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills.
• Ability to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders, including adding labor hours and updating work orders.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, or crawl.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time (1-2 hours).
• 2 years' experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.

Pay

USD $36.00 - USD $38.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Technicians are eligible for performance-based incentives paid weekly, allowing for additional earnings beyond the base hourly rate.
