Mobile Diesel Tech-Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Travel to a customer's facility or distribution center with a fully equipped "bay on wheels" to perform preventive maintenance services and repairs.
• Provide accurate, efficient service to customers by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• Ensure every traveler is returned to the road better than they came, adhering to Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
• Understand and follow safety guidelines, reporting potentially unsafe situations caused by team members and/or customers.

Requirements

• A dedicated individual with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in repair or parts shop is preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical examination annually.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $20.00 - 22.00 per hour. The actual pay will depend on various factors, including responsibilities of the position, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.

Schedule

Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment

• Exposure to outdoor elements in all seasons.
• Occasionally exposed to fumes, particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.
• Noise level in the work environment can be loud at times.
• Exposure to dirt, dust, grime, grease, oil, gas, high-concentrated cleaning solutions, etc.
