Mobile Cardiac & Vascular Sonographer (Per Diem)

About The Role We are expanding our Home Network and seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to work Per Diem on an exciting new decentralized clinical study. In this role, you will travel regionally (may be local or across state lines) to patient homes to conduct in- home cardiac and vascular imaging visits, paid on a per-visit basis. Travel expenses incurred per visit may include mileage, airfare, and hotel accommodations, reimbursed on a per-visit basis. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING | THE ROLE Travel locally or across state lines to patient homes to conduct visits, volume varies by region Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipmentExplain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participantPerform echocardiograms and vascular imaging studies per protocolMonitor patient comfort and safety during imagingFollow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelinesEnsure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology reviewComplete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer commentsMaintain high-quality standards consistent with ASE StandardsPerform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment WHAT YOU BRING | REQUIREMENTS Active registration in both cardiac and vascular imaging required (e.g. RDCS or RCS plus RVT or RVS through ARDMS or CCI)Basic Life Support (BLS)Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally/regionallyAccess to a personal computer and reliable internet required; tech savvy and self sufficient with digital toolsAbility to work independently in non-traditional settingsExcellent patient communication and bedside mannerAdaptability in dynamic, field-based environmentsTime management and organizational skills We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
