About the role

Clarke Power, an industry leader, is seeking an experienced Truck Mechanic / Diesel Technician - Light/Medium Duty for 1st shift Wednesday‑Saturday. The position offers training, competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with all aspects of light and medium duty chassis, suspension, HVAC, engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
• Excellent diagnostic skills.
• Diagnose cause of non‑conformance and identify corrective action.
• Diagnose and repair basic equipment wiring.
• Must be able to use computer diagnostics.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience as a Light/Medium Duty Gas and Diesel Technician.
• Preferred: Diesel or Automotive Program Certificate or degree.
• Experience with engine platforms such as Cummins, Power Stroke, Duramax, LS, Triton, and Godzilla.
• ASE Certifications a plus.
• State Inspector License a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations or at‑fault accidents in the last 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol‑related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• CDL a plus.
• Ability to obtain DOT Med Card (company may assist).
• Physical demands: frequently move, stand, walk, sit; use hands to touch, handle, feel; reach with hands and arms; regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance; ability to read and write reports; implement and enforce health and safety regulations.

Pay

Top pay $38/hr and up, plus shift differential; up to $7,500 hiring bonus.

Schedule

Flexible 4‑day work week – 10‑hour shifts (Wednesday‑Saturday, 1st shift).
