Mobile Automation Engineer
About the role
The Mobile Automation Engineer will develop and enhance mobile test automation frameworks, ensuring software quality across various devices. They will lead, design, and develop automated solutions, including unit, functional, UI, and performance testing.
Responsibilities
- Utilize an innovative approach to uncover issues during the development phase.
- Implement new testing frameworks for future products and features.
- Participate in code review of standards, procedures, tools, and quality improvement processes.
- Maintain automated regression suites and packages to be compliant with changing requirements and features.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Testing or Manual QA.
- Technical Skills: Java and Shell Scripting, Mobile Test Automation with Appium, Selenium Test NG, experience with mobile automation tools and frameworks like Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest, experience with source code and CI/CD management tools (e.g., Jenkins, Perforce, Git, Bitbucket).

- Experience with continuous integration and unit tests.
- Ability to thrive in a team-based environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.
