About the role

The Mobile Application Developer will be responsible for improving the overall efficiency, data integrity, and functionality of the mobile application to support ongoing management. Tasks include detailed analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation activities necessary to develop requested enhancements, system interfaces, queries, and reports.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms using React Native.
  • Ensures the mobile application adheres to FWP's design, development, and security standards.
  • Conducts thorough testing and ensures production-ready code.
  • Documents code changes and commits them to the repository.
  • Works on enhancing existing FWP mobile applications.
  • Creates fully functional user interfaces that meet FWP staff requirements.
  • Develops fully functional queries and reporting capabilities as required.
  • Manages working database tables as required.

Requirements

  • Strong mobile application development skills and experience in React Native for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Experience with local storage for offline operation in mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with Java and proficiency in object-oriented programming.
  • Proficiency in consuming and producing JSON REST services.
  • Experience with RDBMS platforms such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

  • Developer with strong mobile application development skills and experience.
  • Experienced in using local storage for offline operation.
  • Familiar with Java and proficient in object-oriented programming.

  • Experience with RDBMS platforms such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.

Skills

  • Athletic knowledge of Agile, Kanban methodologies.
  • Experience with GitLab, IntelliJ, Spring, Struts, Wildfly.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles.
