Mobile Application Developer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Mobile Developer with a strong interest in building high-quality mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate will assist in developing, testing, and maintaining mobile applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver user-friendly and scalable solutions. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with internship or project experience who are eager to build their careers in mobile application development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain mobile applications for Android and/or iOS.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Kotlin, Java, Swift, Flutter, or React Native.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product teams to implement application features.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services into mobile applications.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Perform unit testing and assist in application deployment.
• Document code, technical processes, and application features.
• Stay updated with the latest mobile development trends, tools, and technologies.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) development, or cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
• Knowledge of mobile application architecture and design principles.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and mobile application integration.
• Basic understanding of SQLite or other local/mobile data storage solutions.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Understanding of debugging and testing mobile applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging).
• Knowledge of state management techniques such as Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, or Redux.
• Familiarity with Google Play Store and Apple App Store deployment processes.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
