Mobile Application Developer

Mobile Application Developer NFC / BLE / IoT We are looking for a Mobile Application Developer to build high-performance mobile applications that connect with smart locks and IoT devices using NFC, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and cloud services. This role will help develop next-generation access solutions with a strong focus on security, offline capabilities, and seamless user experiences. What You ll Do Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using Android/Kotlin and/or iOS/Swift Build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications for smart lock and access-control solutions Develop NFC-based access workflows, including tap-to-unlock, credential exchange, tag reading/writing, and offline authentication Implement secure credential storage, validation, and authentication workflows Integrate NFC + BLE connectivity to support reliable device access, including low-connectivity and offline scenarios Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), and authentication services Support synchronization of device states, access permissions, and activity logs Collaborate with engineering teams on mobile-first API design and IoT integrations Optimize NFC/BLE performance across different mobile devices and manufacturers Follow security and compliance best practices for mobile and IoT ecosystems What We re Looking For 3+ years of mobile application development experience 3+ years of hands-on experience with NFC and BLE Experience with Android NFC APIs and/or iOS Core NFC 3+ years of experience developing applications that interact with IoT devices or hardware 3+ years of experience with React Native or other cross-platform mobile frameworks Strong experience with mobile security, authentication, encrypted storage, and API integrations Experience working with REST APIs and cloud services such as AWS or GCP Nice to Have Experience with smart locks, access control, digital credentials, or connected devices Experience building offline-first mobile applications Experience with secure credential exchange and device authentication Physical Requirements This position may require regularly sitting, standing, and walking.
