Three Trails Behavioral Health is seeking a PRN PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) in an inpatient setting in the adult caseload.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric care to patients in an inpatient setting.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments and diagnose mental health conditions.
- Prescribe medications and provide medication management.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a PMHNP in Missouri.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health.
- At least one year of post-graduate experience in psychiatric mental health nursing.
- Experience working in an inpatient setting preferred.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
Skills
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their effects.
- Skilled in conducting psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses.
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR).
