MNVA is an online school providing a quality education to all students. Our Special Education Team focuses on meeting the needs of each individual student while ensuring the best educational program and experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach high school level courses in a virtual setting
- Collaborate with general education teachers through co-teaching models
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
- Engage in regular communication with students, parents, and community agencies
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education laws and regulations
Requirements
- Current or eligible for licensure as a special education teacher in Minnesota
- Experience with co-teaching and collaboration with general education teachers
- A strong student-centered mindset with a focus on collaborative relationships
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field
- At least two years of teaching experience in a special education setting
- Knowledge of current special education practices and trends
Skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Benefits
MNVA offers a remote working environment allowing the hired candidate to work from their home office in MN.
Pay
The salary range for this position is TBD based on experience and qualifications.

The schedule for this position is flexible and will be determined based on the needs of the school and the individual teacher.
