ML Teacher - Newcomers at Chippewa Middle School

Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• 2. Current valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsement.
• Experience as a middle school teacher is preferred.

District Information

District 62 has approximately 4,800 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school.

Compensation Information

This position is part of the Des Plaines Education Association and salaries are part of the collective bargaining agreement. This position includes paid sick and personal time. Salary information can be found here: Certified Salary Information

Selection Procedure

All applications will be reviewed and qualified applicants will be recommended for further interview consideration by the building Principal. After interviews are completed, the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources will make a recommendation to the Board of Education via the Superintendent.
