MK1 Electrical Vehicle Test Engineer II – Lunar Permanence
At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin’s Blue Moon landers and related products. We are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.
This role is an engineer-test configuration and development position in the Integration and Test team, supporting our mission to return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond Earth. The Lunar Transportation team is dedicated to developing mission architectures such as our planned Lunar Lander program, Blue Moon. Our team is developing lunar landers to demonstrate core capabilities – including the BE-7 landing engine, precision landing sensors, and advanced integrated power and propulsion architecture.
Travel is expected up to 15% of the time. This role may require rotating shift coverage and occasional weekend support to ensure continuous test operations and meet business and program needs.
