About the role
SRM Concrete, a national leader in ready mix concrete, is hiring Mixer Operators (also known as Ready Mix Truck Drivers, CDL Mixer Drivers, and Concrete Mixer Operators) to join their growing team.
Responsibilities
- Operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL) to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
- Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet precise specifications and quality standards.
- Deliver excellent customer service at every job site, representing SRM Concrete with professionalism and a service-first attitude.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, and the public.
- Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
- Clock in/out and coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for efficient scheduling and routing.
- Absorb and assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
Requirements
- Active Class A or Class B CDL and current DOT Medical Card.
- Proven safe driving record and commitment to safety.
- Strong commitment to exceptional customer service and representing SRM’s values on every job.
- Physically able to lift/carry up to 100 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, “Go-Getter” attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience as a Mixer Operator, Ready Mix Driver, or in construction delivery is a plus—but we welcome motivated newcomers ready to learn!
- Willingness to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.

Pay
