About the Role

SRM Concrete, a national leader in ready mix concrete, is hiring Mixer Operators to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL), load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet precise specifications and quality standards, deliver excellent customer service at every job site, perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks, follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols, maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems, coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for efficient scheduling and routing, and assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL) to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet precise specifications and quality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every job site, representing SRM Concrete with professionalism and a service-first attitude.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, and the public.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Cookordination with dispatch and plant teams for efficient scheduling and routing.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.

Requirements

Your physical abilities must include lifting/carrying up to 100 lbs, climbing ladders/stairs, and working in all weather conditions. You must also have a strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, "Go-Getter" attitude. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, and previous experience as a Mixer Operator, Ready Mix Driver, or in construction delivery is a plus.

Qualifications

SRM Concrete requires a minimum of a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a current DOT Medical Card. They also require a safe driving record and a commitment to safety, as well as a strong commitment to exceptional customer service and representing SRM’s values on every job. Applicants must also be physically able to lift/carry up to 100 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in all weather conditions. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, "Go-Getter" attitude are required, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills. Previous experience as a Mixer Operator, Ready Mix Driver, or in construction delivery is a plus, but motivated newcomers ready to learn are welcome.

Pay
