Mitigation Technician

Training & Development

Become proficient in water mitigation, mold remediation, and fire damage clean-up and contents pack out.

Responsibilities

• Be a team player and assist Lead Technicians in responding to jobs and initiating demo and mitigation services according to IICRC standards and Rainbow Restoration of Norfolk's processes
• Absorb and apply mitigation, demo or reconstruction experience if available
• Absorb and apply cross-training in related positions if needed
• Absorb and apply knowledge of maintaining all company restoration and cleaning equipment, keeping them clean and properly maintained to be available at all times
• Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Able to work in confined spaces
• Be reliable
• Absorb and apply excellent communication skills
• Absorb and apply ability to rotate nights and weekend hours for emergency calls if they come in.
