Mitigation Technician
Training & Development
Become proficient in water mitigation, mold remediation, and fire damage clean-up and contents pack out.
Responsibilities
- Be a team player and assist Lead Technicians in responding to jobs and initiating demo and mitigation services according to IICRC standards and Rainbow Restoration of Norfolk's processes
- Absorb and apply mitigation, demo or reconstruction experience if available
- Absorb and apply cross-training in related positions if needed
- Absorb and apply knowledge of maintaining all company restoration and cleaning equipment, keeping them clean and properly maintained to be available at all times
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Be reliable
- Absorb and apply excellent communication skills
- Absorb and apply ability to rotate nights and weekend hours for emergency calls if they come in.
