Mitigation Sales Technician

About the role

This role blends sales expertise with technical knowledge, ensuring our clients receive top-notch service from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct property assessments to determine the extent of damage caused by water, fire, mold, or storm incidents.
  • Provide expert recommendations on the most suitable restoration methods and solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the restoration process, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with project managers and technicians to ensure that restoration work is completed on time and to the highest standards.
  • Assist in restoring properties, including tasks such as water extraction, mold remediation, fire damage clean-up, and debris removal.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines during restoration work to ensure the safety of both clients and team members.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and client database, ensuring timely follow-up and project updates.
  • Stay current on industry trends, new products, and best practices in restoration services.
  • Evaluate water damage situations and determine appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Ensure all mitigation work complies with IICRC S500 standards and OSHA regulations.
  • Set up and monitor drying equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers, etc.).
  • Perform moisture readings and document job progress daily.
  • Train, coach, and develop technicians in proper procedures and safety.
  • Coordinate job site logistics, including crew schedules, equipment, and supplies.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, adjusters, and project managers throughout the job.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including job notes, photos, equipment logs, and moisture readings.
  • Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and secure.
  • Respond to emergency calls and be available for after-hours work as needed.

Requirements

  • 1 year of Sales experience is required: roofing, construction, or restoration highly preferred.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in restoration (IICRC, etc.) or related fields are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of restoration services, including water, fire, mold remediation, and storm damage repairs.
  • Ability to assess and evaluate property damage and offer appropriate restoration solutions.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a focus on building strong client relationships.
  • Self-starter with a results-driven approach to sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Pay

$45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (On Call/ Weekends as needed)
