THE WORK
Lockheed Martin's Mission Engineering and Operations team is seeking a talented level 4 Mission Systems Engineer and integrator with an active Top Secret clearance to support our Concept of Operations (CONOP) development on Global Security.
Work location is Littleton, CO. This role includes working closely with a senior team member to brainstorm and effectively manage the integration of Payload CONOPs on several early-lifecycle programs. These Tasks Include, But Not Limited To:
- Development of CONOPs for the Payload Transition Implementation Plan (TIP)
- A subject matter expert on one or more payload subsystems, capable of developing CONOPs specific to the payload(s) and authoring command sequences in Python to enable those CONOPs
- Plan and execute payload collection operations, collaborating and coordinating closely with external teams
- Manage payload tasking strategies to include understanding C2 and MM ground interfaces and working closely with those teams to accomplish those strategies
Profile
You will have exceptional communication skills and capable of interacting with multiple external teams and can clearly articulate a detailed vision to them. You're a self-starter and possess the ability to track down issues and solve problems with little oversight.
THE ROLE
This is an MID-SR CAREER (level 4) ROLE where candidates typically require 5+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.
