About the role
Serve as the subject-matter expert for standardization and modernization of Mission Planning and Common Intelligence Picture / Common Operating Picture (CIP/COP) curriculum. Develop and standardize training material, training aids, planning processes, and Surface Maritime exercise-planning procedures. Provide combat-systems integration expertise for mission-management tools, evaluate emerging technologies, and lead or assist in the design, development, management, and instruction of new curriculum and doctrine.
Responsibilities
- Standardize and modernize Mission Planning & Common Intelligence Picture / Common Operating Picture (CIP/COP) curriculum.
- Develop training material, training aids, planning processes, and Surface Maritime exercise-planning procedures.
- Provide subject-matter expertise on combat-systems integration of mission-management tools.
- Acquire knowledge of new and emerging technologies; lead or assist systems-integration efforts.
- Design, develop, manage, and instruct new curriculum and doctrine.
- Manage, modernize, and instruct Surface Maritime Mission Management Tool curricula.
- Design and develop new curriculum for emerging technologies and management tools.
Requirements
- Five years’ minimum experience within the last ten years as a Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewman (SWCC) with Senior qualification per COMNAVSPECWARGRUFOUR INST 3120.3e; qualification must not have been revoked for administrative or disciplinary reasons.
- Alternate qualification path: ten years’ experience within the last fifteen years as a Naval Intelligence Analyst in Naval Maritime Operations, preferably in SOF or Joint Special Operations plans, operations, training, or exercises at JSOTF, SOJTF, JSOC, or TSOC level.
- Five years’ experience as a Navy Instructor supporting or augmenting active-duty training cadre with subject-matter expertise, echelon-IV combat-systems integration, scheduling/planning, classroom instruction, practical field training, final training exercises, troop movements, consumable-supply management, and opposing-forces (OP4) performance.
- Demonstrable understanding of Joint SOF Operational and Strategic Operations.
- Two years’ experience using Naval Surface Maritime Mission Planning and CIP/COP tools.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Ability to operate a PC with standard business software and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to enter data accurately into multiple databases.
- Active Secret security clearance (contractor must verify clearance status before proposal submission).
- Previous military personnel must have received an honorable discharge and never lost their applied specialization during their military career.
