About the role

This isn't a relationship management role — it's an ownership role. Sharp. Adaptable. Unstoppable. You won't wait to be asked. You'll identify what's broken before it becomes a problem, build solutions that didn't exist yesterday, and earn the kind of trust that makes you indispensable to the agency — and to Axon.

Responsibilities

  • Lifecycle Ownership: Lead end-to-end lifecycle execution across deployment, adoption, optimization, operational transformation, and ongoing success for strategic accounts.
  • Operational Transformation: Assess customer workflows, identify operational bottlenecks before they become escalations, and recommend process improvements that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Technical Leadership & Building: Support multi-product program delivery across hardware, software, digital evidence, AI solutions, and integrated workflows.
  • AI & Workflow Optimization: Drive adoption of AI-powered capabilities across the Axon ecosystem through hands-on enablement and built solutions.
  • Growth & Expansion: Identify opportunities to deepen adoption and expand customer value based on demonstrated operational impact.
  • Embedded Engagement: Maintain a consistent onsite presence (approximately 3-4 days/week) to stay closely connected to agency operations and evolving needs.

Requirements

Required Experience:

  • Customer-facing technical roles, program management, operational transformation, or complex deployment environments (typically 8+ years)
  • Former law enforcement or military experience preferred, but not required
  • Proven drive to help mission-critical organizations adopt new technologies, transform how they operate, and deliver outcomes that matter
  • Demonstrated ability to build: you have shipped working automations, integrations, AI-enabled tools, or technical solutions
  • Comfort working across technical and operational domains, including hardware, software, networking, cloud services, AI-enabled technologies, or integrated systems
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and senior stakeholders
  • Thoughtful, problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity, identify patterns, and prioritize effectively
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and building trusted partnerships

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States

Skills

Required Skills:

  • Technical expertise in public safety, law enforcement, corrections, or other mission-critical operational environments
  • Familiarity with Records, Evidence, digital workflows, AI-enabled platforms, or integrated public safety ecosystems
  • Experience supporting cross-functional programs or initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Ability to understand both technical systems and the operational environments in which they are used
  • Experience translating field insights into reusable tools, playbooks, or product requirements

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and 401(k) with employer match
  • Paid parental leave for all
  • Medical, dental, and vision plans
  • Fitness programs
  • Emotional and mental wellness support
  • Learning and development programs
  • Snacks in the office
  • Base Pay Range: $100,500 USD - $160,800 USD
