With all the information available today, it takes a skilled intelligence professional to know how to find and interpret the best data to give clients the right answers. As a mission engagement specialist, you’ll use your specialized operational, language, and functional experience to assist users in adopting mission capabilities, providing actionable intelligence and context.

Responsibilities

  • Help clients understand mission application capability requirements to support operational needs.
  • Explore new mission capabilities, define how they support user needs, and author and conduct training courses to educate users on maximizing tool effectiveness.
  • Analyze user feedback and metrics to inform development of new capabilities and user support mechanisms, optimizing tool usage.
  • Provide time-critical recommendations under pressure as the authority on operational needs.
  • Share expertise with other intelligence professionals through leadership and mentoring.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a civilian or military intelligence officer (e.g., Targeted, Linguist, Analyst, or Operations Officer).
  • Experience serving as an advocate for mission user needs in support of the Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Experience using IC tools for targeting and mission management.
  • Ability to author and conduct training courses (in-person and remotely) covering multiple user-facing applications in tandem to support IC workflows.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time for in-person engagements.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing and growing an outreach team for widely used capabilities.
  • Ability to coordinate all aspects of mission engagement, including requirements gathering, user support, training, outreach/marketing, and documentation.
  • Experience speaking at conferences and events to engage attendees on mission-facing capabilities.

Pay

Salary is determined by location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and contract-specific requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

This role may require occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility, depending on the work model:

  • Remote: Primarily virtual, with occasional in-person requirements.
  • Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with possible customer site visits.
  • Onsite: Work primarily performed at a Booz Allen or customer facility.

Cameras are generally expected to be on during virtual meetings to support engagement and communication.
